How it works.

We made consigning as easy as ordering DoorDash. Here's exactly what happens from sign-up to payout.

Fill out the sign-up form

Tell us your name, contact info, a rough description of what you're bringing, and whether you'd like to drop off at SAU or have us pick it up.

Drop off or schedule a pickup

Bring your bag to Ada's at Spring Arbor University on a scheduled drop-off day, or request a pickup from your location. A small fee may apply for pickup service.

We photograph and list everything

Our team handles photos, pricing, and listing on Depop, eBay, and Poshmark — using years of resale experience to maximize your sale price.

Your items sell — you get paid

When something sells, we send your cut directly via Venmo or CashApp. You'll always know what sold and what you earned.

How much do I get paid?

You receive at least 30% of the final sale price. Payout is sent directly via Venmo or CashApp after your item sells — no waiting, no chasing.
Where do I drop off my clothes?

You can drop off at Ada's at Spring Arbor University. Drop-off days are scheduled throughout the summer. We also offer pickup from your location in the Spring Arbor and Jackson area for a small additional fee.
What platforms do you sell on?

We list on Depop, eBay, and Poshmark. Our team has years of experience and knows how to price, photograph, and write listings that actually sell.
What types of items do you accept?

We accept clothes, shoes, and accessories in good, sellable condition. Items should be clean and free of major damage.
How long does it take for items to sell?

It depends on the item. Popular pieces can sell within days. We aim to have everything listed within one week of receiving it.
What if my items don't sell?

If your items don't sell within a reasonable timeframe, we'll contact you and give you the choice to have them returned or donated.
Is there any upfront cost?

No. Consigning with Ada's Closet is completely free upfront. We only make money when you make money. Pickup has a small fee, but drop-off is always free.
